Renovation of a foil pool on the 9th floor, roof pool of the homeowners association.
The pool is made of sheet steel with a wall thickness of approx. 5mm. After dismantling the foil lining, the steel sheet was completely derusted, sandblasted and protected against corrosion. A new foil lining was then professionally installed. The built-in parts were renewed or refurbished. The water treatment was largely retained.
The challenge was the fact that the pool is on the roof of the 8th floor and can only be reached by elevator or staircase. A crane was not chosen for the renovation for cost reasons.
